Master of Science in Clinical Leadership
The MS in Clinical Leadership in Healthcare Management program is designed for current and future medical professionals who wish to better understand the health care industry and the environment in which it exists or who aspire to clinically-related leadership roles. It gives future clinicians; physicians, pharmacists, and nurse managers, an understanding of the complex business environment in which they will ultimately practice. This degree may enhance the academic record for those who plan to attend medical school.

The program is offered both as a “stand-alone” degree and as a joint program with the Albany College of Pharmacy. The joint degree, the Pharmacy Doctorate and Master of Science Clinical Leadership in Health Management program, is limited to students from Albany College of Pharmacy.

Leadership in Medicine Combined Degree Program
The Leadership in Medicine Program is a combined degree program (BS, MS/MBA, MD) that integrates undergraduate, graduate and medical education. Students of the School of Medicine are admitted into the program directly from high school. Pre-med study begins with an undergraduate study at Union College, continues on toward an MS or MBA degree from Union Graduate College and culminates with the earning of an MD from Albany Medical College in a total of eight years of study. This educational program is aimed at students who envision themselves in leadership roles in twenty-first century medicine.

Alumni - Alicia Anderson
The ease of transition into the graduate program was what initially caught my attention. It gave me the opportunity to explore a potential career path while I was still completing my undergraduate degree. The MBA in Healthcare Management courses I took as an undergraduate helped me to define my career goals, relieving a lot of the pressure a senior can feel when trying to identify a post graduate path
