EMPLOYERS: Ways to Participate
In order to keep employers connected with Union Graduate College students and alumni, we partner with businesses and corporations to participate in career programs and special events both on and off campus throughout the year.
Our office has found that the more programs and events companies become involved in, the greater visibility and exposure they have to our students, translating into stronger connections and partnerships between us.
Programs & Special Events:
Our employer partners have participated in events such as:
- On-Campus Recruitment (Resume Collections, Information Sessions, Interviews)
- Employer Panels
- Career workshops and classroom presentations
- School of Management Mentor Program,
- Networking Events
- Annual Internship/Career Fair
- Annual Golf/Networking Event
Sponsorship & Support Opportunities:
Programs and special events offered throughout the year could not be provided without the help of sponsor support. Sponsorship funds will be used to upgrade and enhance the mission of Career Services, helping our students find employment opportunities and prepare them for success in the workplace.
Any level of sponsorship is greatly appreciated and will be appropriately recognized on our website and within event publicity.
How does an employer benefit from sponsoring Career Services events?
- Increase your company’s visibility and credibility on campus;
- Brand your organization to UGC students, faculty and alumni;
- Amplify your recruitment efforts with a targeted audience.
What are some examples of employer sponsorship or support?
- Donation of company giveaway or promotional items;
- Contributions toward refreshments for various career functions;
- Monetary donations to offset costs for career programs and events.
How much is an employer charged for sponsorship?
Depending on the level of involvement the employer chooses or the type of event the employer wishes to sponsor, giving levels can vary.
For more information on how to sponsor or support the Career Services Office, contact Jane Fleury, Coordinator of Career Services, at (518) 631-9851.
