Union Graduate College is located in Schenectady, New York city limits in upstate New York, approximately 150 miles north of New York City. Centrally located, the School is close to many metropolitan cities; Albany (the state capital) is located 15 miles from the campus. New York City and Boston, Massachusetts are only a three-hour drive from here. Additionally, Montreal, Canada is only a four-hour drive away. The Adirondack Region (a camping and recreational area) is about a one-hour drive from campus in Schenectady, NY.

By Car
From the south and east:
From New York State Thruway to New York’s Capital Region. Take NY State Thruway exit 24, take the Northway (I-87) north to exit 6 (marked 'Route 7 west'). Follow Route 7 west for 6.5 miles into Schenectady and bear right onto Union Street. Continue on Union Street for 2.7 miles and enter the campus through Payne Gate on the right. Once on campus, take your first right turn, continue until you land in the Graduate School’s parking lot behind Lamont house which is the brick building on the left.

From the north:
From the Northway (I-87) take exit 6 (marked 'Route 7 west'). Follow Route 7 west for 6.5 miles into Schenectady and bear right onto Union Street. Continue on Union Street for 2.7 miles and enter the campus through Payne Gate on the right. Take first right turn once in campus, continue until you land in a parking lot. Lamont house is brick building on the left.

From the west:
From New York State Thruway to New York’s Capital Region, Take NY State Thruway exit 26, take I-890 east to Schenectady exit 4 (Erie Boulevard). Follow Erie Boulevard north to Union Street (second light after the Amtrak station), turn right onto Union Street, and follow for one mile. Enter the campus through Payne Gate on the left.Take first right turn once in campus, continue until you land in a parking lot. Lamont house is brick building on the left.

By Air
Many airlines fly into and out of Albany International Airport, connecting the region to almost any destination. It is only a forty-minute flight to New York City.

Taxi and rental car services are available from Albany International Airport, which is about a 15-minute drive from Union Graduate College campus.

By rental car, upon leaving the Albany International Airport parking lot, turn right at the airport exit onto Albany-Shaker Road and drive north to Route 7. Turn left onto Route 7 west toward Schenectady. Follow Route 7 for 4 miles and bear right onto Union Street. Continue on Union Street for 2.7 miles and enter the campus through Payne Gate on the right. Please park along the right side of the street marked "Admissions Visitor Parking."

By Train
Amtrak’s Schenectady station is on State Street in Schenectady, NY. A 10-minute walk or short taxi ride from campus.

By Bus
The Greyhound bus station is on State Street in Schenectady, NY. A 15-minute walk or short taxi ride from campus.
